Reckitt & Coleman, the manufacture, discontinued Glass Wax last year and what you see on the shelf is NOS.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm.. another week of crazy spending for me. i think im gonna have to beg my parents for the mula. hmmmm, why not. if you get this before you leave the house, bring the nattys. i need a good canuba topper (assuming nattys is canuba).. 22 rite?

aha, just the other day i got stoner's invisible glass, and i gotta say that the thing is sweet. it does work that i couldnt imagine. basically, it made my glass INVISIBLE, just like the name says. however, i have a question for you peeps. do you apply stoners with a microfiber, or with a newspaper. rite now, i rub it in with a microfiber, and take any left over residue with another dry mircofiber.

geez, i wish this product would make me inivisible...:cool

I use mf's. Newspaper scares me. I've seen ink run or get on fingers, which get on seats/dashes/etc. I know some (many?) will argue that newspaper is the way to go, but since vegetable based ink (most newspapers) seems water soluble, I don't want to risk messing up other areas of the car to get windows clean, especially if I'm able to get at least as good a job from mf. Just what works for me.

I start out with a white, lint free paper towel (IMO, Bounty is the best and cheapest I have found) then finish up with a MF.

talking about glass. my car´s previous owner did not replace the wipers on time leaving an arch in the windshield.

Is there a way to fix this?

If you like using newspaper and know someone in the printing industry, you might ask them if they can get you some of the newsprint paper without the ink on it. I work at a printing plant and the paper is just recycled, they will often give some away. I have gotten it for many of my friends. Personally, I like the hand towels that you find in the public bathrooms better than anything for glass cleaning.

Maybe you just need to use more than one rag or towel to wipe the windows clean. Or, use newspaper as a towel, get a glass cleaner concentrate, and DILLUTE IT AS DIRECTED WITH WATER IN A TRIGGER BOTTLE.

I use a glass-specific microfiber towel with Stoners to clean my interior glass. Exterior glass get Quik Shine.

i think the point of using newspaper on windows is the fact that the print on the newspaper has some type of concentrate, which actually acts as a temporary polish for the windows. very kewl. as for gettting it the print on the other stuff, that scares me too.......

also, i do use two microfibers when doing windows. the first microfiber is to spread it and work it in, etc. then, i follow with another clean microfiber just to remove any other left over residue.
