Window Treatment

Hello all, it`s been quite a while since I have been on here....I`ve been busy with tons of overtime at work, and on my off time, it`s been a busy detailing season. In any event, my wife just purchased a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek Limited, pearl white. It`s a beautiful car. As any enthusiast would do...undo what the dealer did and properly prep and apply protection to it. My plans are to apply Cquartz to it.

I`ve been liking the aquapel window treatment. In reading the manual, because of the "eyesight", it says not to apply any type of water repellent to the windshield because it can screw up the "eyesight"

Any thoughts, experiences, suggestions?

I love aquapel. I`ve been using it for years. I cannot stand driving a vehicle without it applied or at least another treatment. That being said, if it was my wife`s car, I`d rather have the benefits/safety of aquapel on the glass over not applying it. I don`t see (no pun intended) how the windshield being more free of water would screw up the eyesight cameras.
