when i roll up my window it seems that it is no longer going up as quick as it used to. after a while of rollin it up and down i get this streaks that seem to slow it down. i can tell its not the same speed bc when i roll up both windows at a time one is rolling up slower. does anyone know how i can prevent these streaks or where they come from? is it the weather strippings?

Yea there are usually felt angle brakets to guide the window

and I would think they are dirty and/or need to be adjusted

I would also lube the window tracks and such wile I had the door apart

use lube..... ist always nice to be lubed. That should sholve your problem. Ask your local autoparts store for window track lube, or you can just get a generic spary silicone . . .

I am having the same issue on my newer vehicle. When it is raining the windows roll up nicely, but when it is dry, the window rolls up slow, or stops rolling up and goes on an angle. Will try the silicone lube until I can get to the dealer, or possibly avoid all together.

It may be sealant buildup on the rubber, as I have put sealant on the windows, possibly causing it to stick.
