i bought a 4pk of IG at sams club for around $5 IIRC when it was on clearance (seasonal item) and i'm still on the first can... :)

You can pick up a gallon of the Window Sheen for about $15. Dilute it in a 5 gallon container 4-1, and just refill your bottles as needed. It lasts a very very long time, and is very high quality.

I use orange extract from wallmart. Very cheap and cleans better than anything I have tried. Oh and it doesn't streak and it's safe to use with tinted windows as it doesn't contain ammonia. A tiny spray and a micro fiber rag and your good.

I've had some minor streaking issues with ONR as a glass cleaner. What do you use to prevent streaks?

Is orange extract a glass cleaner or a general cleaning concentrate? What department is it in?

(Also, is it the Canadian one you're talking about, or the US?)

Zep is the best glass cleaner I have used.....a gallon makes 32 gallons I believe...this stuff cleans great..no streaks...non ammoniated...very economical....9.89 a gallon...I even use it to make washer fluid....a few ounces and water and good to go...for winter use i add 2 oz to regular washer fluid and windows are super clean and water just rolls off....



Great stuff for the money...

How might you compare this to FK1's glass cleaner? or have you not used this product?

I have not used FK1's glass cleaner...but have used NXT...IG...Sprayway (second best)...Show car garage...eagle 20/20....bon ami...and a few others...and the Zep cleaned best...cleans new car off gassing real nice...



Plus the Zep can be used as a multi surface cleaner..cleans interior plastics very nice....

In my experience, NXT is a bit better than IG. But you can get away with using a little more spray with IG. Use NXT sparingly!
 
IG, Sprayway, Bon Ami are all favorites of mine. But the product I seem to really like is DP Krystal Vision Glass Cleaner. Great product.
 
I don't know about you guys, but whenever I use chemicals, I always find haze on the windows and whatnot. So I just use plain old water, I guess distilled water would be best but I've never really done that, from the tap, a clean microfiber cloth, and elbow grease. The windows and mirrors are pretty much streak free and without any chemical residue.



I guess if there's built up gunk on the inside somehow, maybe you could use rubbing alcohol or something, but I've never let my windows get that bad, and usually never have the windows down to allow the majority of the outside air in. Reciculated air and AC ftw, I guess.
 
I have had good luck with Stoners Invisible Glass. Ordered from AG but saw that it was cheaper at WallyMart even with tax included!
