Windex On Windshield!!

In my area there is no homeless people basically anywhere, but if someone were to clean my windshield with windex or whatever, i'd give the some change if it looks like he really needs it and basically give change to anyone.... hard to tell if they need it or not.

I do give to many charities and organizations everytime the time comes.... For the blind, deaf, cancer, etc....

:har: oh please, that's such an urban legend! If I had a buck for every time I've heard that story I wouldn't need to be washing windows on street corners three days a week!

Fwiw, back when my sister was handling international funds for T Rowe Price, one of her largest customers (worth many millions), was the bag lady out on the street in front of their place.

These people make me friggen sick

I see people begging for money for food around STL all the time. What gets me, is they are almost always smoking!!! You can get a decent meal for the price of a pack of cigs these days. One asked me for change, I told him to quit smoking, and you would have some change.

I've seen bums dig in the trash and public ashtrays for cigs that had enough left to smoke. THAT'S an addiction...Yuch!!!

:bolt

Just before Rudy cleaned up NYC, one guy in the throng of squeege-men that used to hang around at the east end of the LT was making out pretty well by walking along the row of cars waiting for the light at 42nd and 10th with a sign around his neck: "$1 and I WON'T wash your window"
