Will this ever end

For the last 5 weeks we have had nothing but rain, I'm cool with the rain I enjoy it but every time we go out the cars become a mess.

Yesterday I washed the cars, fineshed late because I washed them twice each, the wife goes for a night shift at the Hospital leaves with a car spotless arrives this morning with it despicable, dirt every where, guess what!!!!!!Rain, rain:angry :angry



Now the Wheather Channel calls for more rain for the next 5 days . How can I drive and at the same time keep them decently clean?



Any suggestions?



Could I just hose them down every time I get home?:nixweiss
 
I hear your pain! Where are you in Canada?? I'm in Edmonton....snow and slop for the last 3 days and minus 10 this morning...with MORE snow! I've been able to keep my "baby" in the garage for the past few days but that won't last forever. Oh well, just another 7 months to go!! Man I envy you guys in the Southern states (or anywhere you don't get a "real" winter!)
 
I'm in Ontario, the temperature here is around 15Celcius:up but it wont stop raining:nixweiss Snow for us still a good month away, I hope:eek:
 
Tell me about it been here since last night, my eyes are starting to hurt:eek: I can do it a couple more hours:cool: :D :wavey
 
couldnt agree more with the rain problem, i ahvent washed my car in like three weeks because of the rain. i dont even like driving my car when the heavens open because i know as soon as i step out there will be mud splatters all over the side of my car.



just waiting for a little break from the rain so that i can get her back up to scratch.

Maybe try hosing the car down. I'm not sure if it really helps that much, but I think the dirt sticks on more if it's allowed to dry out on the paint.

Hey...as much as we all hate to see it rain rain rain rain rain.... it keeps the reservoiirs full, which meand no water restrictions...which means we can wash and detail to our hearts content!
