Will the weatherman be right??

Wow you guys are getting hammered :inspector:

ps Dave, thats a great looking friend you have. Ever considered doing any service work with her?

Therapy Dogs Inc.

Thanks (901);), I have considered that for a while because of her ever so jolly disposition, She is 42 pounds of pure love. Thank you so much for the link. I always wanted to involve her in such things but didn't really know how to go about it.

The storm finally finished up around midnight yesterday. Picked up another 18" of snow. Right now theres almost 4' on the ground.

the drugs for the pain aren't that good :notme:
So you say, but believe me if they were that good you would be the last to know. ;)

Well the weather predictions came 100% true. Between 0600 and 0900 we already had 3+" of accumulation and it is still snowing like nothing from recent memory. Temps are in the low 30s and predicted to drop to the mid 20s starting around noon. There is still a weather system just to our west which could bring additional snow, with totals of 5"-8". It is going to be a zoo around here.

An update, it has been snowing for over 12 hours now without end. Based on what I've removed from various vehicles we have received over 7". Not all of that is sticking on the ground, so we don't have that much actually on the ground. I must say I do not remember a period in my life that we have seen this much snow in one time period. The local meteorologists are really having a field day. It is real purty.

mind blowing to say the least for Texas :wow:
good thing it will get warm soon and it will only be a memory ... ours will be here for months to come :surrender:passout:

I really appreciate you guys pushing that stuff this way. We are looking at sleet/snow here on the north side of Houston tomorrow morning. The temps won't get low enough to maintain real snow.

Yes, mind blowing! We were looking to find that last time we had this much snow. It was probably @ 1977. But even then I don't recall it snowing this much for this long of a period of time.

Doing what we can, when we can. :) This ain't nothin' for you. ;)

Well, the snow continued to fall until we smashed the previous record snowfalls of 1917 and 1964. We got over 12" at our house. This is truly weird weather when we get that much snow and Vancouver, home of the Winter Olympics is having to have snow delivered.

I guess were getting some of you Northern Folks snow drifts....as were supposed to get 4" in Columbia, SC tonight. It snows at Myrtle Beach before it snows here.

According to news reports, for possibly the first time ever, all 49 states had snow today, leaving only Hawaii w/o snow.

Actually all 50 states. Hawaii even has snow.

Saw it on the news. The higher mountain/volcano tops have snow on em.
