Will PS12 total auto wash strip my wax

I currently have a couple of layers of Klasse on my car, but I'm more concerned for the summer when I have a carnuba topper or just carnuba on there. Total auto wash is great stuff, but I don't know if it will strip of anything or is wax/sealant-safe.
 
Your Klasse should be safe though. Any wash is going to weaken your wax, but the sealant is a lot tougher and takes a little more than normal car wash to break it down.

I'm not sure that Klasse would be safe from P21S Total Auto Wash. Total Auto Wash is P21S's citrus degreaser product. I always thought that any citrus degreaser would remove wax.



In comparison, P21S's car wash shampoo is Bodywork Conditioning Shampoo. That shouldn't break down a wax coating very much.

Having used P21S' TAW quite a bit, I'd say a lot of the sealant stripping ability would depend on how it's diluted. It WILL strip wax, even diluted. Used straight, I'd be surprised if it DIDN'T strip even SG, or at least degrade it significantly. As ema said, it's a citrus degreaser, and it's pretty strong stuff.



I'd just use it for wheelwells, undercarriages, engine compartments, etc. BTW, I've pretty much switched to EF Hi-Intensity. Seems to work just as well for general cleaning and it's a LOT cheaper (still keep some TAW around, though).
