Pretty much what the topic states. Last week I washed my car at a carwash were i go to school, but found out that I forgot my absorber at home, 25mi away, and now i have a lot of spots. So, just let me know if this works or if I should use a more aggressive polish such as Einszett Paint polish. Remember, I would be apply this to the whole car, and I want to take off as little of the clearcoat as possible. Thanks for your help!.

It does on my TT if it's light, but for bad waterspots use some vinegar and water mixture. Try a spot with GEPC to see what happens.

It can. It has mild abrasives in it that have worked well for removing waterspots for me in the past. If they are etched into the clear then you may need a stronger polish. Vinegar works well too for that kind of stuff. Just wash it afterwards with a good soap to neutralize the acid in the vinegar.

if I were to spray my car down with quick detailer the same day i washed it after i got the spots, would that take care of them?

P.S. What it GEPC?

GEPC is your P21S Gloss Enhancing Paint Cleanser :D

And a QD especially on my black car doesn't remove the waterspots, I can see it in the sunlight at an angle.

I don't know what your level of expertise is, but I would try methods of removing water spots that are non-invasive first (vinegar, clay, etc.). Water spots come in two varieties: Hard water deposits, and etching. The former is just from minerals dissolved in water and the latter is usually caused by contaminated water (acid rain, very dirty water, etc.) left to bake on a finish.

If you've concluded they're not just deposits then try a polish. GEPC isn't a bad place to start since it's quite mild. Work your way up the abrasiveness ladder if needed.
