Will EX or LS remove Souveran ?

I was thinking of putting a coat of LS or EX (via Gray pad w/PC) over my BF2 that has been topped with Souveran. But I sort of recall seeing some posts in the past where LS and/or EX has 'some' cleaning aspects to them.

Thanks

Yes they will clean some if not all the Souveran, maybe even some of the BF2. It all depends on many different factors (paint, condition the car goes through, etc. etc.)

I am positive that EX will cut right through Souveran and BF II. I haven't tried LS, but according to Mosca, the solvents are very refined. I'm willing to bet that LS is safe as a BF II topper.

I'd use Souveran as the final coat on anything. No matter what I use, a couple days later I think, "I wonder what it will look like with a coat of Souveran?" And it ALWAYS looks better with Souveran on last. So, if you use EX or LS, wait a day and reapply the Souveran, and see what you think.

I wouldn't be suprised if ANY liquid wax/sealant would degrade to some degree whatever they were applied over. Virtually all of them contain petroleum distillates. And, I think also that any paste wax, due to the pd content would degrade to some degree the underlaying product. So much for effective "layering."
