will Carnuaba QD harm Carnuaba wax?

Is there any chance a Carnauba QD will affect the underlying Carnuaba Wax? I put Megs #16 on my car and i think it looks really good, just wondering if i use Mothers ShowTime will it affect the appearance in anyways?

Does Mother's make a QuickShine? If you mean Mother's Showtime, no it will not hurt any wax or sealant. Clear Kote makes a Quik Shine and that too will not hurt a wax or sealant. A carnauba QD is ok for over a wax or sealant, but if you try to put a sealant over it there will be bonding issues.

No, no, and triple no. What I do, though, is I will first wax and allow a little time for the wax to settle in. The very next time that I will either wipe off the car or dust it, then I will add the carnauba qd. Carnauba qd is very mild, yet it is an excellent way of settling in wax and perfecting the shine.



QD is ideal for cars that have a lot of wax on it, and its also good to use during the winter, when the weather is less permissive for applying wax.

oops.. yes i mean mothers show time, silly me...



so QD should maintain the carnauba i have on it already and hopefully not affect the durability of #16.
