Will AIO get rid of water spots on glass

I've got heavily ingrained water spots/marks on my windscreen. Been there since I picked it up new from dealership!!



Tried everyting, normal glass cleaner, MC2 virosol, autoglym glass polish, DP glass polish, barkeeper's friend, cillit bang, but nothing has worked. :hairpull



I'm on the verge of trying to get a new screen under warranty but I've got a sample of Klasse AIO on way for the puropse.



Is that likely to yeild any better results?



Anyone got any other suggestions? :think:
 
I've read AIO will help some spots. If that doesnt work, try vinegar. follow with some rain-x to keep them from coming back. I've also tried zaino glass polish, it works but doesn't really take out tough spots. There's a procedure involving steel wool (#0000 grade) but I've never felt comfortable doing it myself.
 
if what you wrote doesn't work, AIO won't work either. It's cleaning ability isn't THAT strong, even ColorX is stronger than AIO.



I've tried the whole vinegar route, that didn't do it for me.



This is what I use..



3m Perfect-It II Fine cut rubbing compound, use a terry towel and rub the spots. They'll be gone
 
One Grand makes a great glass polish. You can apply it with an orbital polisher if you like. It is available at TOL, however, it is frequently sold out because One Grand makes small quantities. If TOL does not have it you may be able to get it directly from One Grand. Great stuff though.



Edit- I just checked TOL's website and they currently have it in stock. I would get some now before it sells out.
 
Mike Phillips has suggested using Meg's #4 (pretty aggressive stuff IIRC) and a wool pad on glass. Remember that glass is a lot harder than automotive paint.
 
I tried some Valugard Cerious Compound with a rotary on a neighbor's beater car's windshield. It made a noticeable improvement. :up
