will AIO get out waterspots?

That depends on how bad the spots are and if the calcium has etched the paint. If your paint is badly etched, AIO will not remove the damage. If it's a simple mineral deposit, yes, AIO will make quick work of it.

PM mrdetailer: I looked for his post about a 3m product he uses but, could not find his comments. Ask him to repost concerning his battle with water spots.

It's in this thread: http://www.autopia.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=14700

His original post got toasted by the server crash I believe, but I remember him listing a whole bunch of abrasives and cleaning products all the way up to Meguiar's Fine Cut(!) This is what finally did it for him.

was 3M Cleaner Wax Medium Oxidation Remover. Tried 2 types of scratch removers, 3 glazes, 2 swirl removers, and a fine cut cleaner. Recommended by 3M tech support. Finess it was listed with a 1200 grit, and This was listed at 1100 grit. The rubbing compound was listed at 1000 grit. Mine had been on for at least 2 years so it was etched in. It took several passes, but it's finally gone.

Did you knock them down by hand, PC or Buffer?,

I kinda have the same problem.

I had same problem on a used car I bought 3 months ago. Use Meg #9 w. yellow pad with no luck. Finally got it remove with 3M FII. Took a lot of work but most of the water etching is gone.
