Will 400 degree heat kill UV on headlights?

Man I'm being drilled here, haha. Just teasing.

As far as I know, its a side job. I dont know what the guy does for a living.

Absolute worst case is I receive a pair of scuffed up malfunctioning headlights and no refund or help from paypal. I looked up the price of just the housing with nothing else and its $750. I'm then out that money and the money I paid for the service. Looking on the bright side, I would have a spare set of housings I can experiment with and learn how to modify on my own. Maybe even fix up and sell to recoup my money.

When you depend on the internet for business one bad review can scare away a lot of customers. I highly doubt it would come to that but if a mistake was made and not corrected then I'd be posting a nice long negative review and make sure I refresh that thread every now and then to remind everyone.

It's a common practice on the Pontiac Bonneville forums also to take apart the headlight to remove the amber plastic. But I just took a look at a tech article about it, and for those it's only necessary to put it in the oven for a few minutes on the lowest setting of the oven.
