Wife is going to kill me

Look at "the situation" this way...

it makes up for all the times the wife goes to the mall for one item and comes home with everything but the item she went to the mall for in the first place!

here's an example....

Yep, I'm "beta testing" a lot of the stuff that gets shipped to me.

How many of us are very glad our wives don't read this forum?

Dave

I am a wife, and I am reading this forum! LOL I am also the one *ordering and hiding* stuff from the husband so I guess it works both ways! ;) I just had to tell him that 2 packages I received in the mail last week were "freebies"---but then again I do the checkbook and pay the bills so it's no problem. I have 2 milk crates full of products, and the hubby still uses kerosene on his truck:nixweiss Just leaves more for me I guess!!! :wavey

you have a lucky husband a a lucky 350Z :o pics of car!

Well...

My wife kinda reads the forums over my shoulder. Here's her suggestion (and remember, this is coming from a woman who wouldn't care if I bought a new PC every week as long as the bills are paid).

Arrange for one of her friends to take her shopping so she's gone and her car is at home for most of the day.

Give her car a complete detail.

Leave one red rose on the seat.

Scent the interior with lavender.

Maybe install a leather steering wheel cover or some other inexpensive but tasteful "bling" thing.

Meet them for dinner, bring her home. Don't complain about the 15 bags and $1500 Visa bill... besides, you have a truck to haul the stuff.

When you get home, as soon as you get out of the truck, say "Oh, before we take this stuff in, let me show you what I did for you today."

The packages MAY spend the night in your truck :bounce

BTW: While discussing this thread, my wife asked "Why don't you have a PC?"

She practically forced me to go to Lowes after I hit the gym :)

No, she doesn't have a sister.

LOL, I just posted something regarding my wife and spending money over on a Mercedes Benz forum, although my expenditure will be a little larger than yours (If she gives you a hard time, you could tell her how lucky she is to have you and not someone like me!).

I love my E500 but REALLY, REALLy want an E55 AMG. So, I have started to work on the very complicated, lengthy process of wearing her down. You know, leave pictures around. Bring it up in conversation. I figure it'll take 6 months to a year, but I'm sure I can get her to give in eventually. :D

How does her Mom look?

Well... if she weren't pushing up daisies, she'd probably be decent for a woman in her late 60s. Right now, I'd say she's probably a little thin, as she hasn't eaten a thing in 10 years :)

Posts like this make me glad I am divorced!

My ex could walk into Walmart for 1 thing and end up spending $150, but I buy one thing for my car and I'd have to listen to her gripe for the next week. Oh well, she is someone else's problem now."

Ditto

Buying details supplies is the least of my problems. I keep buying new cars. My driveway is starting to look like a new car lot. Thank God I don't have to pay for all of the detailing that goes on around here.

I can understand buying multiple classic cars / sports cars but what's the point of multiply "new" cars beyond those needed by the family. :nixweiss

This sounds like my wife. If I asked my wife if I could buy a PC, she'd say "what do I care?".

However, a couple of weeks ago she got this wild idea that she wanted a 350Z Roadster. Guess what she's driving?

Purchasing the 350Z is one of the reasons I started reading this forum again after being away for a while. I use Souveran on my black garage queen and I was thinking of using something with a little more longevity on her Red Z. I think I'm going to try AIO topped with Trade Secret.
