I ordered a PC, Pads from Autopia(She gave the ok for these), Then I ordered Menzerna Intensive polish and Final polish, Carpet scrub brush for PC, and the Wolfgang Deep Gloss Conours kit. SHE DOESN'T know about these .............. yet.:D :D :D

My only defence will be

"But honey these are for your car, not my truck.... honest"

Think I have a chance to keep my credit card?

Tell her to "shutup and get back in the kitchen... Make me a sandwich and bring me a beer!"

Well, if it is not part of the monthly budget, then both parties have to agree. Am I right?? :D

It's called flowers and diner and a show out, then ask her nicely if you can buy the stuff you already got, and go out and "get" it.



I've got 43 years experience in saying "yes, ma'm" to the same woman. The approach above usually works. But right now she's out with the grand-kids and doesn't know I'm washing my car towels in her machine. She hasn't let me touch it since I accidentally put a red rag in and turned the whole wash pink.

My ex could walk into Walmart for 1 thing and end up spending $150, but I buy one thing for my car and I'd have to listen to her gripe for the next week. Oh well, she is someone else's problem now. :lol
 
rathi60, are you talking about the wife or your car that you take to the coin oper? Just asking because I sometimes wish I could take (and leave) my wife there. Just wondering how to get away with it. BTW, I try not to take my car there.



Scott, I fully understand all too well.



HRP, very good advice. That tactic usually works very well. When it goes as planned, she never needs to know the stuff was purchased prior to asking. Just be cautious of dates on credit card bills, etc.



How many of us are very glad our wives don't read this forum?
