Just got this pic from my wife. She was sitting in a parking lot (good thing she was still in the car) when a car pulled in beside her. Kid in the passenger seat throws open his door hard enough to do what you see below. 2006 Aucra RSX-S in Nighthawk Black Pearl. I guess she really laid into the mom. I haven't seen it in person yet, but looks pretty bad for a 'door ding'. Of course, just Sunday I washed / clayed and applied Zaino CS. At least it's a shiny dent....

I thought the same thing too...I had to scroll to see the whole pic and then blink a couple of times to make sense of it

Wow, that sucks.

If you can get this way, Scott, our PDR tech is very accomplished...

Call me first.

Jim,

I think we're way past PDR. Still haven't seen it yet, but she said it's creased. Goes to the body shop on Monday (with special instructions from me about using a rotary on it). She said it was hard enough to rock the car - like the kid had kicked the door open.

I also thought it was the frame being bent there, So shiny. But damn it is a big dent, stupid kid that did this. No respect for other peoples property at all.

Should be their insurance covering it....

Yes, the lady's insurance is covering it. In fact, my wife was really impressed with them (Progressive). She had tried to call and didn't get through, but they called her within an hour, found out where she lived, suggested a body shop and started the process. Next day they called her, conferenced the body shop in, had an appointment set up for Monday morning (her first day back in town) and had arranged for a rental car.

Progressive has a Claim Center just 1/2 mile from us and we deal with them almost daily.

I am quite impressed with their professionalism, and their willingness to go the extra mile. If you have any issues with them (which I doubt), call me. We know people :secret
