Why not layer carnaubas?

Thanks a lot for taking the time to explain your layering conclusion so clearly and thoroughly.



As far as your test methods being insufficiently scientific go, I’m not sure I agree. At any rate, I now believe that layering more than two carnauba layers is unfruitful.



Your post also says:

I take from the rest of your post that you are not referring to some other types or car wax here -- right?

That was really in reference to the paraffin waxes used on surfboards. I believe the solvents that are used in carnaubas is primarily what prevents them from layering.
 
What about Trade secret and Liquid Souveran <-- I might have read somewhere this is layerable:nixweiss
