WHY is my Leveling Compound doing this?!

I'm using Race Glaze Leveling Compound-first thing after wash.
As I apply it with PC and Orange pad-or even yellow.
I start seeing it get really dry-as soon as it begins to haze, it dries up..the kind of drying up that when you see it..you know it means it's going to be a B****H to remove.
So as I use my good quality MF towel to remove-But the MF rolls over itself-I t won't stay in it wipe down flat form-you know what I mean??
..just can't wipe down properly..the C is so dry that the MF can't wipe away..So now its "elbow grease rubbing'" and I hate that, knowing very well something is not going right..
Is this what's called marring???

I tried different sppeds on the PC-I tried different pads-I tried not so long with the PC-But if I don't PC long on the paint what good is it to call it 'Leveling Compound', I got to spend at least a few minutes on the area??

I don't know what it's called, but try using a spray bottle of water, very fine mist and spray the area with a small dusting. This will loosen up the chemicals and make removal easier.

If you want a really cool trick, bake the stuff (small area like the hood) in the sun for about 10 minutes. Back into the garage and with a busket of really cold ice water and a terry cloth towel wipe a small area and buff off with MF.

Put the terry back in the cold water ring out and move to the next area.

Gaurenteed the stuff will come off and look great.

I will try that..
That sounds pretty interesting..
The finish I get after I work it to hell and back to remove it, is amazing..
It does indeed come off with a super gloss finish..but man it is not easy...And it is only the Leveling C. that does that...
When I polish on 3M Glaze it comes with ease and the the Race Glaze sealant comes off even easier..
It's just the LC that is a so stubborn.
thanks for the tip my friend..
