Why has #26 not worked for me?! Or has it?

Well here's what I did.

Clay

Aio

SG x 5

#26 x 2

I have to say I am kind of disappointed in #26. I let it sit for 15-20 minutes after application and it didn't improve the look of my car at all. The second coat didn't do anything either.

In the end it looked better without the #26 and just with the glaze. That same day I tried my new liquid souveran on my GFs car and it looked awesome. Just clayed her car and AIO and the LS and it looked great.

My questions is, is the liquid souveran that much better than #26 or am I using it wrong? I like the durability of #26 though as it still beads 2 months later.

Also, is there any topper that will give me shine rather than depth? Maybe the #26 is fine and my preference for the glass like look of ths Klasse is distorting my perception of #26.

Thanks guys.

#26 is designed to make your car's paint looking wetting and deeper, and a little bit darker.

What colour are the cars? If it's a white or light coloured car, nothing is going to match SG, or Z for clarity and brilliance. For dark cars, toppers make more sense.

The car (my car) that the #26 didn't look so good on is a metallic black paint (VW- Black Magic Pearl) and the GFs car is a medium shade of grade, kind of like slate.
