why doesnt autopia have a...

What are your thoughts Todd?. We can pitch unrealistic goals all day:) (like bogo BFMS)

Are you allowed to lift the minimum two restriction that AG has on Bogo?
Like towels, with bogo the max towels you can get is 4. Usually we would want at least 8 or 10 of the same kind.
What about free shipping blocks with $95 minimum instead of $125.00? I am aware fedex surcharges has been crazy lately so I do understand why you do $125.00 but just a thought :)

What if we had a similar service like Prime on Amazon. It doesn't necessarily need to be 2-day shipping for free but perhaps free ground shipping. I can't tell you how many times I hear about a product or run out of a product but have to wait until I need atleast $125 worth to get free shipping. If we had a something similar to Prime here I wouldn't think twice on ordering products.

What if we had an annual fee for this service of say $75 and we could get free ground shipping for a year?

I don't think AG is a competitor, they both fall under PBMG name. I do not know the logistic of how independent they work though.

Interesting, either they are one in the same, and just use different names, or they are affiliates and actually are competitors in retail sales.

I don't really care what deals other places have i'll just buy here lol. Although It would be cool to get like frequent flier miles for orders because between 2 shops I order quite a bit. Or like an Amazon prime account!! Oh that would be awesome they next day Air me packages for 7$ as long as I buy a certain amount.

It is the same concept as the car manufactures.

Parent Company: GM / PBMG

Std Company: Chevy, GMC, Saturn, Pontiac / AG, Autopia

They are technically competitors. But in the end all the money goes to the same house.

I know its a push but I would love to see some kind of "Free Shipping" with no minimum order. There are many times that I want / need a product but the shipping cost just make the overall finial price ridicules for me. So many times I out off ordering until I have a full cart and can get "Free Shipping" + a % off.

Prime like shipping service and daily deals would be a huge hit. Other sites have daily deals but shipping kills the deal since they don't meet the minimum requirement for free shipping. With an annual fee for free shipping members will save money on the long run and will be more enticed to purchase more items.

This is a great thread. I am loving this. Some really good ideas that I will explore and sit down with the team to see what we can do.

All ideas, even those that have to be reeled back to doable, are great!

This thread is so great that if I end up using and idea in here you pitched or a varation of the said idea, I will do something really cool for you.

Cool enough that I will get some BFMS paste with your autograph :bigups

I still think of a combination of BOGO and quantity discounts would be ideal, essentially taking the best of Autogeek and Detailed Image and combining them into one. I know I would switch over exclusively. As it is now, I either use Detailed Image for quantities, or Autogeek if there happens to be a BOGO item I want or not readily available anywhere else or locally.

I would like to see everyday lower prices with fixed rated shipping for smaller value orders and free shipping over larger orders but I know buying psychology does not work like that.

It is like JCPenney reporting lower sales after they went to no theme based sales to provide lower everyday prices. People want sales so there is the pricing game.

Looking over this thread makes me excited for some awesome change to come to Autopia!!

How about a Free Shipping day, Bi-weekly every friday. *Normal Restrictions*

I know thats a long shot but how about Free Shipping day, bi-weekly every friday on orders over $50.00? *Normal Restrictions*

I'd be game for some Autopia Rewards Points (ARP). For each dollar you spend you get 1 point. 100 points = $10 credit.
