Why does #26 continue to haze after it's wiped off?

Hey gang, today I put a coat of #26 on my Mustang. I used a blue YoSteve MF towel to wipe it off, still in the garage. Once I was finished, I pulled it out into the driveway to look for spots I may have missed, and wiped them off as well. I went inside for about 10min, then went back out. There was a slight haze on the horizontal surfaces that I had to wipe off. Then when I got to the car show, the hazing was there again! Why does it do this, and is there a way to keep it from happening or minimize it? If I'm going to be using this on future client's cars, I want the car look great 15min after I wipe it off. I've read that using a QD will help, but what about in full sun? Thanks for any info!

what #26 were u using, the liquid or paste? I found the paste version is much better than the liquid, but i hate the little specs of that wax that get over the pad and they get into cracks and become hard to remove. Mine came off pretty easy, but i experienced some spots where i missed bc i was in a rush to get to school that day(i let the car cure over night in the garage). Try using a qd, it helped removed my residue left from the #26!!

I used the paste. A QD in direct sun? When I had Zaino on my car, the Z6 QD would streak like crazy if I put it on in direct sun. Thanks for the reply :)

And Meguiars #26 is still a favorite. I currently have one bottle of liquid, and 2 of paste. Ive used it even in 40 degree weather without the problem you describe. This wax, like most, really likes thin coats. One can of paste has lasted over 50 applications. I spray a bit of quick detailer on the applicator before putting the wax on.

I use to use the liquid version of Meguiar's #26. I ran into a problem of having difficulty buffing it off. I'd buff it off and then still see some streaks in the paint I'd have to go back and buff off. Somewhat annoying.

Now I've found some other waxes that the residue jumps off the paint with just the threat of a towel running across it.
