Agreed. Optimum Compound is hands down the best compound I have used via PC. Good, decently fast results (even faster with a new version I am trying out) and even with a burgandy Meguiars pads on black paint, the finish is pretty much LSP ready. The abrasives in the compound (and polish too) break down via friction, not heat so you do have to bump up the speed, make slow passes and use some pressure for best results. If you are just letting the weight of the PC do the work, lots of luck.
