Why are my swirls re-appearing? Blackfire SRC FP?

Sean, I have to call user error on this. I have used 106, 85RD and RE5(all SRC polishes) and observed no filling occurring. Possible that you either worked them too long or not long enough?

I'll go with user error.

I've used Menzerna since Day 1 sans any problems with FPII and PO85RD. I get dusty with BF and 106 and in the end, some filling properties. I'd rather stick with what's got me through in the past years plus, with the addition of Z-PC to my arsenal, it's nice to top right after with a Z-sealer.

As far as 3m polishes go, I used them 10 years ago and they are not top products at all and are loaded with old fashioned oils that will make a finish look great until washed. They will fill while you are correcting making it hard for you too see while working.

Second, Mezerna po106ff and BF src polishes needs to be worked in, especially with all the added lubricants they use to make them work longer at high speeds. If not worked in, the the minor swirls will reappear. If worked in, the finish will be super!

As far as Sean: I know what he is talking about. I am loving ZPC polish more and more every day and I now use it in place of 106ff.

I think the 106ff dust is making me sick to my stomach also. I know it's killing my lungs.

Are you getting dust using 106ff with a rotary?

Once again I have to say that ZPC would NOT finish properly on the wonderful soft clear they're putting on the black 3 series Bimmers now. Nothing but the SRC polishes have worked for me.

If that 106ff is getting in your way, you just let me know.

Dust with a pc, but only in hot weather. I will wear a mask though and save it for speacial jobs. I have heard about those nice solid black BMW's, I can't wait for one. 106ff does work great on soft paint though.

Sorry SpoiledMan...I will keep it! I gotta have everything!:D

I only use the PC for one step/AIO type application or wax/sealant. Menzerna polishes are better suited for the rotary but in most cases do just fine with the PC. I prefer the SRC's with the rotary.
