 I hope they're fitting the bill for that mess up!

Do you think a place that consisently does this will keep on doing it to car after car? How many times of this does it take for one to say, well maybe we shouldn't do that anymore or try to explore the correct way of doing thinks (by customer complaints and whatnot). Keep us posted on what you do.

I am sure that the company will be paying for a new paint job. It is a shame that people simply don't listen any more. What did they use 50 grit sand paper?

Oh no, that's not my ride. Sorry if I led you to believe that it was. It's another individuals. I saw the link on another board I frequent and thought you all might see the same interest in it that I did. Sorry bout that. If that had happened to me the first thing I would have done was squeal into their parking lot, drag the service writer out to my wheels by his ear and do my best not to open a can of whoop ass on him. But that's just me. The second thing I would do is have him cut me a check for the damages and my time right then and there or my lawyer "uncle vinnie" will be nipping at his ankles real quick like. But again, that's just me. Sometimes actions speak louder than words.

LOLOL

I gotta admit, when I heard the WHO was going to be playing the half-time show @ The Super Bowl I was thinking it was going to be an Epic-Fail

However, I was pleasantally surprised to see the old guys rock the house last night. To be 65 years old Roger Daughtry has still got the best set of pipes going

Pete Townsend in full swing (literally) was awesome.

"Out here in the fields..."
"We've fought for our meals..."

I enjoy classic rock just as much as the next guy, but at some point the NFL will not be able to dodge the current relevant artists. These classic guys aren't getting any younger.

I thought Queen Latifah's rendition of God Bless America was an epic fail and even Carrie Underwood started to stumble at the end of the Star Spangled Banner... and when did it become a requirement to sing God Bless America before sporting events? - the national anthem is long enough.

I am not the biggest fan of country music, but is there something against say Tim McGraw doing a half time show?

Well, first of all, I do agree that the Who sounded good. Daltry missed some notes, but hey, he is not exactly in his 20's anymore. I don't think that the super bowl organizers will ever get another current star due to the "Nipplegate" incident with Janet Jackson a few years ago. I think that they think these artists are to unpredictable.

As for the singing of God Bless America and the National Anthem, unfortunately, the Super Bowl is not about the game anymore. It has become an event.

Truer words were never spoken. That's how they get the women to go to the game.

It's kind of like the evolution of the Corvette. Once upon a time it was a ground thrashing horsepower machine... now it's all about cupholders and floormats. Hhhmmmm I wonder how that happened.

I enjoyed them, and it sounded like the audience did too. Pete Townshend's Fenders sparkled to my ears .

Jack

I like 60's-70's rock stuff as much as the next guy/gal my age, but todays rock - I just don't get it. I'm finding myself listening to Trace Adkins, Toby Keith and Brad Paisley alot more. The ladies of country - Shania Twain! #1 and Gretchen Wilson, not too into the sound alike teenagers.

Me 2 Junebug, Me 2 ^ What I find odd is I'm listing to "Classic Country" music...You know, the same crap my Dad listened to that I use to throw fits when he would fire up the jukebox with his collection of ole 45's Boo Hoo

As long as you don't start listening to Clay Aiken your Gold :w00t:

because most of it (about 90%) is terrible IMO...

Thats what we think also ^ :wizard:

Thing is, anyone under 21 probally saw "The Who" last nite and said > Who are those old kooks
