I think that Taylor Hicks is as marketable as great singers/entertainers such as Ray Charles, Joe Cocker, Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder and Sam Cooke. Really, that is how impressed I am with Taylor Hicks.

I don't think Katharine McPhee is in the same league. (Ducks from all the flying tomatoes being thrown at me.)

It's the truth though. If you ever notice the crowds reaction after Taylor Hicks performs compared to any other contestant this season. He had a few performances that were less than stellar but most of the time he just blows the crowd away.

Then again, I thought Bo Bice was going to win it all last year and be bigger than Elvis but I was way off on that one...

Yeah no kidding. As it turned out, Bo actually got WORSE since he was on AI. Did you see him when he came back on early this season to perform his first single? It SUCKED!! Way off pitch/key, horrible overall performance, etc.
 
Well i have heard 8 of the 9 songs. Only Taylor's last song to come. Unless he bombs on the last one he won the hearts and minds of almost everyone this week.

Of course, who would not melt after hearing Kat sing "Over the Rainbow". WOW!!! Cannot win the compition with one song though.
