Who here doesnt use menzerna for hard paint?

Some people really like a heavy compound from 3M (forgot what it is called) and then follow up with Menz SIP.

Menzerna USA (Customer service)left such a bad impression with me, I refuse to support their product in any way...........I usually go with either Optimum or Four Star Body Shop.

I do love some Menzerna products, but these Scholl Concepts products are going to be my main product line for correction. I still can't believe how fast they cut and finish with such precision. As soon as I get more testing done with hard clears, I will give my honest in depth review. I need to test on a bunch more cars to keep an even balance of the products.

I guess it's just the opposite for me. I have no problem calling up and getting questions answered. Now that I think about it I've only had an issue with one detailing company.

I mostly use #84 and SSR2.5, but yes sometimes I find my self needing something a little more aggressive, I am learning to use the rotary now, I am tired of using PC for tough jobs. don't get me wrong it's a great machine, just takes so much time to remove major defects.

I am looking to try Menz Pro Polishes, I am hoping they will work out well with my Dewalt 849. I am also looking into Optimum Polish.

I don't use Menzerna.

I use 3M PI-III Extra Cut 05936 for the serious correction, H-T EC for less-serious work, 3M PI-III RC 05933 and MG 05937 for medium correction, and 1Z Pro MP (old version) for my finishing polish.

I'll get around to trying the BF/Menzerna finishing polish one of these days (just sitting on the shelf), and also the SIP, but the only Menzerna polish I've tried so far was the old FP (v1.0) and I liked the 1z Pro MP better (side-by-side comparison).

BUT..the above is just because of what I have on-hand and what I'm familiar with. If I were starting from scratch I'd be choosing between Menzerna and 1Z. My good body/paint guy (for whom I have limitless respect :bow ) swears by Menzerna.
