i respect your opinion but when you watch a big game live theres nothing dull about it.......

I've tried, believe me. Just cannot get into it at all.

Huge baseball fan though, watched at least part of 150-160 Ranger's games this season.

See. And I just don't get that. How can you find Soccer so boring, but watch 150+ games of Baseball. The action in a Baseball game could be edited down to 2 minutes from the 3-4 hours spent for the game. Soccer is 80 minutes of action in 100 minutes of time.

Not to mention that nobody so far has mentioned Baseball players as top athletes.

Soccer is like watching cross country running. :lol

Baseball players are athletic, but not like sports where they run around constantly. Plus, other than Cricket, it starts off as a battle between two people, the pitcher and the hitter.

Lebron would do fine in the NFL.........until a 300lb plus truck slams him into the turf. His agents would fell that hit all the way down to their pocket books!

How much gear do the NBA players have to wear while runnning up and down the court?

How many NBA players play in the rain, sleet, snow and scorching sun? They don't. It's a nice climate controlled arena.

So while there are fine athletic players in the NBA (I like to watch it) they would not like to go up against an offensive line head to head.

Now if you want to talk about athletics in sports I believe that water-polo players would beat NBA and NFL players. I know water-polo may not be that exciting but those players are in top condition with heart rates in the unbelievable catergory. Right up there with tri-atheletes.

If we are talking sports with the biggest balls (or the stupidist)? Rodeo clowns hands down. "Hey Mr. 2000lb pissed off bull....come chase me!!"

The most grueling sport is ultra endurance cycling. The winner of RAAM this year (Ride Across America) rode 2989.5 miles in 8 days, 8 hours and 6 minutes. To win RAAM, you have to average over 300 miles a day on the bike on about 60-90 minutes of sleep. And then their recover ride is Le Tour Direct, where they go to France and ride a classic tour course straight through.
