who has heard of this

solekeeper- Heh heh, you're a lot more trusting than I am!

M-D- Croftgate is all the rage at a certain model/marque-specific forum I frequent, but the people raving about it don't strike me as being, uhm....very Autopian about their detailing.

haha, he keeps raving about how revolutionized it is. so what is it? like a spray on wax?

don't worry i'm not buying into that crap. i just want to know a little more info about it

Accumulator I know a few Croftgate Reps and encounter others at car shows with their waterless wash demo with 1 bucket, no grit guard , 1 towel and the wrong techniques. I always go over to check out their personal cars and they are usually swirled up. I have 2 reps in my Mustang club and argue with them all the time. Guys that used Croftgate products on their weekend drivers seem to like it, a few tried on their daily drivers and the durability was atrocious . I always ask them for samples so I can test them on my daily driver against the products I use but they haven't given me any products to date.

I was told by a rep that the more you use their waterless wash n wax the more it fils in and hides the swirls. I told them if you wash and dry a car with the proper tools and techniques you will avoid swirls and the products I use offer 5-6 months of protection from one application not a weekly application.

I've noticed their marketing more and more lately, but it doesn't strike me as high end or complete. I know some people love their WW, but the other products in their range aren't very attractive.
