White stain on paint

Ok we had gotten some snow on thangsgiving and the dot put down salt to melt the ice on the roads. It had been on the truck no more then 4 days before i could get the truck washed. Went to a hand wash place that cleaned the truck. When i went to work this morning, right on the flareside of my bed there are white streaks running down half the side of the bed. I tried to see if it was more salt splash but it wasn't. It seemed to kinda come off if i rubbed it with my shirt a lil bit.

What could this be? and how can i get it off? Im so pissed off now even more then i was when the was/sealant came off my truck after it rained and i had it detailed.
 
A paint cleaner should do it if you are able to wipe it with your shirt....I'd rewash the car with some APC in a bucket about 10/1 mix water to APC..then rewash with regular car soap...Then the paint cleaner or some AIO should remove the stains...The pics would have been nice as its really hard to tell without at times.
 
I use to have problems with white stains on the paint back in high school...the trick is....do it INSIDE the car! but in all seriousness, it sounds like it should come off since you can rub it off a little....don't know what it would be though.
 
im wondering if the handwash used some kind of chemical to get the salt splash off. But whenever this rain/wind stops i'll see if i can get some ok pics.
