White spots on chrome wheels after Brown Royal

Well, they are aluminum! Polishing with Optimum Metal Polish now. The MF is turning black all over the place.

Doesn't seem like it'll take that long. I'm almost done with the 1st wheel after maybe 20 minutes and I haven't been going at it trying to get it done quick. Just messing around. I need to start being more straightforward about it though. I have 3 more wheels to do and don't want to get sick of it before I get done.

I assume it's okay to seal them with Duragloss 111 after polishing? For the paint I Duragloss 501 1st, then do the 111. But since I'm polishing with th OMP, I'll just skip the 501.

Forgot to mention, the white spots on the wheels I started this thread about, I think that's called etching and think it was caused by the Brown Royal. Polished aluminum is the one surface the Brown Royal instructions say not to apply it to, probably because it causes the white spots I got... But, OMP is taking those white spots off, whatever they're called.
