White spot on black Leather

So i have a small white spot on the seat of my car. I have no idea what caused it but it seems to be the consistency of deodorant.

I have tried a few leather cleaners (not sure what the brands were) and all of them seem to take the white out for a short time but it always comes back.

I don't think it is discoloration because the spot has gotten smaller from when i first tried to clean it off.

It has a greasy feel to it. The Leather is perforated so i think what ever it is is coming up from the foam.

Any suggestions on how to get it out?

If this cleans off the surface but then returns and has a slightly waxy/greasy feel to it it could be 'spew'. This is when the fats in the leather become destabilised and it needs a very specialist product (spew remover) to rectify the problem.

Using other products will not cure this as the fats have to be restabilised.

This is only a 3 year old car. It has 36,000 on the clock

Does the problem you mention take time to happen or can it happen at any time.

I doubt it is very expensive leather it is in a 2006 GTO.

Thanks for your reply i will look into "Spew".

The problem can happen at anytime, often on brand new leather but on others as well. Humidity, temperature change etc can triggeer it at any time.
