White paint on Black mustang

Well I just noticed that when they repainted the parking lot lines they sprayed my car with white paint. Does anybody have any suggestions as to getting it off? Thanks for any help.

I would hit it with 100% mineral spirits or WD-40 or 3m adhesive remover or clay or a paint cleaner......

Start with a clay, medium or course grade. If that doesn't work I just got some road paint off of a family member's car using a plastic razor blade and soapy water as a lube for it. It will probably mar a little so plan on polishing afterward.

I agree, go with the clay first. It should do the trick.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am going to try clay first, as I am afraid to use any chemicals. Hopefully it warms up here, and I can get a chance to wash it at least. Its 20 here tonight.

Clay is a good first try. Back in the summer some of my mother-in-law's sisters were up visiting and somehow got road line paint on one of their new cars. Before I had a chance to go over there one of them used WD-40 and it took off all of the over spray, so that is also worth a shot.

I just had to deal with this myself. I used a liberal amount Stoners Tarminator and a MF cloth to get the majority of the paint off, and then went over the remaining specs with clay. This process worked well, and left almost no significant marring.

Be sure to re-apply wax or sealant afterwards.
