hi guys,

first detail write up on this forum, please be gentle :dance

did a detail of my gf car....

first off big thanks to Mad_ix for some samples for me to try out...

this car had very light oxidation aswell as swirls

started off with GC conditioner and wash..

clayed whole car

SSR2.5

2 x #21

one coat of #16 topped

the finish is not entirely perfect, still alot of small cobwebbing when under the sun, but as the SSR2.5 was not mine, i didnt want to use alot of it. so i tryed to use as little as possible.

only double passes on teh bonnet and hatch.

21 was slick to apply

i never tryed #16 until today, i opened it up and thought i'd be a thick cream like wax, but was greated with what looked like a candle in a tin :D

i see what people mean, when you have to apply it very thin, or else you're going to have a hard time buffing it off...

overall, pretty happy with #16, gave it a sterile look imo

any tips of maintaining this car?

its outside 24/7

Great job on white!!!

Looks like you had a nice sunny day to capture the before swirls and the lack of after.

Its so fun trying to hurt swirls in the garage unless the light is just right.
