White BMW, black streaks from trim

My buddies 1996 White BMW steaks badly after a rain. He works hard keeping it clean then as soon as it rains black streaks appear down the back deck under the door handles anywhere there is black plastic trim, is this common? Is there some easy cleanup or way to make it stop bleeding down the sides?

Yeah it is common, no real way to prevent it just ways to clean it. Simply use some areosal shampoo and a MF rag/clean rag and wipe the area. You can quick shine the area when done. That's all you have to do, I deal with this all the time.
