White '95 Miata

This is my track car so the paint/body doesn't get much attention from me, but with the three day weekend, I'd thought I'd spend half a day of on it. My goal was to remove the rubber scuff marks, get rid of the light oxidation and add some wax/sealant as a protectant. After all, this car hadn't been waxed in about a year and a half.

My recipe:

- wash

- clay with Meguiars

- 3M MG (05937), applied in the "rough" areas with a rotary

- AIO, one coat, applied with a rotary

- SG, one coat, applied with a rotary

And finally, the pics:

I'm a Miata enthusiast.

Looks great! Have fun this Spring!

Sold, installed a RED (91) Hardtop on an '04 White Miata today.

Looked quite nice.

BTW, nice wheels.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Because the miata is such a small car, it does make detailing a lot easier.

Looks really good! I've never heard of anyone applying SG with a rotary though. How does that work out for you? Any problems laying down a real thin layer that way?

Sorry, I shouldn't have said "applied with a rotary". AIO and SG were applied with a microfiber applicator and then removed with a rotary.
