which xmt?

looking at trying some xmt. which ones should i get?



i want it to buff out minor swirls on my car and more severe stuff on other cars. should i get #1 and #3? when do you usually use #2? i was looking at 360 but was thinking it might not get as much out.

I have 1 through 4



Just get 1 and 3 and maybe 4.

Didn't notice much difference between 1 and 2.

I have used them before and I found #3 would finish down LSP ready using a LC orange pad on a PC. If I were to pick 2, I'd say go with #3 and #4. One thing I did notice about them is that the pads clean easy - just warm water and an old tooth brush, rinse, squeeze and let air dry.

I have 1 through 3. I've never tried 4. I agree with everyone else though that you shouldn't bother with 2. 1 and 3 will take care of a lot of swirls provided you use them with the right pad.

whats the right pad?



white and #1 for light swirls

white and #3 for moderate swrils

orange or green and #3 for heavy swirls?

PC? use orange LC pads, if you "need" more finishing then go white, but I think you'll be pleased with the orange, I did a 4 year old Buick that had NEVER been hand washed and #3 got her ready for a sealer.
