Which WOWA Sealant: UPGP, OS, Z-CS, JW Trigger, other?

FWiW I did apply DWG via the PC on a blue pad. On another car I went straight from 205 to IPA wipedown then just the UPGP.

i did not tramsfer the UPGP to another bottle. i just held it up to a bright light. it does not look clear like Optiseal.

From the date it was made, sounds like the UPGP has gone bad. My advice, get some new UPGP through this site or go with another sealant.

Unless you do multiple cars, a 4oz. every year should suffice. Try storing the 12oz. in a zip lock. That's what I just started doing. Not sure if it will work, but I will be happy if it does.

Also, I forgot to mention this because I always top UPGP with OID if not a nuba (after 24 hours cure time in the garage), but if you do UPGP alone, it always looks better after the next wash. A fresh, new bottle still looks great on initial application, but for some reason UPGP always looks better a week later after the first wash after you apply - and then looks great for some time.

Man yakky, Im not doubting you but either yours must be milky enough to notice or Im just blind because I held it up to the brightest light in the house and still really couldnt tell.

I will say that opening up the bottle and looking inside, its not crystal clear like OS but its not milky/opaque. If it means anything, mine was manufactured of january of this year

Just to clarify, its not totally milky, but I bet age has something to do with it. It's stamped 3/08. I'm going to contact AG about getting a refund since they dropped the line and I'll order a fresh one directly.

I bought my UPGP from AG as well and the production date on my bottle says 3/08. My bottle also looks milky. I noticed this when I first got it but thought that's how it is supposed to be. Now that I red this, I checked the bottle again and it is milky. It is not white as milk but not clear either. Hmm, I will call AG. They now have UPGP back in stock...

Piku, what sort of results are you getting when using UPGP? Do you see the same issues a few of us above are seeing?

Can anyone else with newer bottles confirm if its supposed to be completely clear or have a white tinge to it?

Like I said mine arent completely clear. They do have a slight milky tinge to it. It looks like extremely watered down fat free milk.

One of my bottles is still in the plastic wrap so it hasnt been exposed to air and looks (from the outside) to be the same as my other bottle.

I would be a little pissed if this stuff has that short of a shelf life. Like throwing money down the drain

I have only used it on a silver car, and the couple of times that I applied it, I thought that I applied a little thick so I wiped it off with a QD the next day. There were definitely some panels that were not very clear, but again, I blamed myself for maybe applying too much.

I have never used a single sealant (and I have used MANY) that does not look better after the initial wash (usually a week later).

That's how I would describe that mine looks too. Mine has a production date of 3/08.

If i remember correctly my old sampler bottle had a milky tinge to it. I just checked my new bottle and though its a bit difficult to tell because of the bottle color it also seems to have that milky look to it.

How old is it? Its clear like optiseal?

I wonder if david can just come in here and chime in. Or we could probably give the folks over at autopiacarcare a call but that would be too obvious right :P?

I looked at my bottle of UPGP today and it does have a milky haze to it, not clear at all. My bottle is pretty new.

Do you know if it was clear when you first got it?
