Which WOWA Sealant: UPGP, OS, Z-CS, JW Trigger, other?

I used OS on my boat to keep waterspots from forming. That black Mercury Engine cowling gets hot. OS does great !

Would you try FK1000p on your boat engine? I hear it holds up very well to heat too.

Since this isn't a real WOWA comparison (since AJT is in consideration also), I have to throw in Z8. I have AJT, OS, and Z8 and in my opinion Z8 looks the best and is the easiest to apply. AJT has the best durability. I use them both together (generally Prime, AJT, Z8 in that order) and have gotten great, long-lasting results.

Sure AJT is a WOWA sealant. If there's something to remove, you did it wrong.

I'd call it spray-on, buff off, like QD. I guess we need a definition of WOWA, but AJT doesn't count to me.

I tried AJT, UPGP, and OptiSeal.

Personally I like the UPGP and OS both better than AJT. I had no application issues with any of them. IMO OS is a better bang for the buck product than UPGP and since I like ONR and so many of the other Optimum products I would lean toward OS. Durability isn't really an issue with any of these since they all last several months, depending on conditions, but since they are so easy to reapply (it only takes about 5 minutes of effortless work) it is almost a nonissue.

Exactly, AJT isnt a WOWA. AW, AJT, OCW, Z8 are a different breed. Like Wfed said, you need to work it in. No there is residue to buff off but you must still work them in first. OS, CS, and UPGP, you literelly wipe it on (in one swipe) and walk away.

Three coats of UPGP with 24 hours bewteen coats to cure rocks for 4-6 months depending on weather and driving conditions. Also looks good for a sealant, but I top it with P21S 100% and then OID on my jet black.

I have used both Opti-seal and upgp over the past year. Like the durability of upgp and the pop of opti-seal. I have 4 coats of upgp covered with one of opti-seal and am happy with the results.
