I have been using wool pads for compounding for about ten years. But I usually find a pad I like and stick to it. Over the last five years there have been a ton of new wool pads that have come out on the market. In the beginning I used pads that I might as well have stuck a sheeps butt on the end of my rotary. Lately I have been using the PFW pads. They work great on softer clears (of which I usually am working on). But on harder clears they don't seem to work as well. Also, they only seem to work for a short while and I usually throw them out.
So my question is what wool pads do you use for harder clears?
Meg's solo wool yellow and purple?
Meg's Cut n Shine
Durowool?
lambswool?
It is time to order pads for this coming spring and just wanted to know if many were using pads other than the PFW?
