Which spray wax over FK1000p?

Looking for suggestions. I use FK425 but am looking for something a little beefier to keep the protection strong. OTC preferred, but will entertain any suggestions! Thanks!

imported_OneQuickGT1- Welcome to Autopia! Don`t think I`ve seen you posting before.

Yeah, while I`ve never tried it, others have posted that Ice works well.

If I had any concerns about the level of protection, I`d just reapply the FK1000P, but hey..that`s just me.

Thanks all been around a long time, just had a ton of access issues after the forum sale/conversion. Now I have this stupid”imported” in front of my user name. Lol

I use ice wax personally. I think it kicks the gloss up from an 8 to a 9. Stuff reportedly is insanely durable.

Consider a detail spray with some protectant, i like the 303 speed detailer. Ice and 303 are dirt cheap

I would definitely recommend doing a second FK coat after a week before going into maintenance mode on it, it does seem to like itself though halo effects can pop up if you dont let each coat cure long enough between reapplication.

Either way let FK chill about a week before topping it.

Just my theory on it all, if you apply anything once a month your car will be fine. If manual paste wax is too much once a month then get yourself a good spray sealant and apply over the paste wax to keep protection on.

I will say ice spray wax a week after a fresh FK coat works good. I did do a 303 detail like 18hrs after an FK coat and i could see halos on my roof. Maybe its what happens when you seal in FK and the solvents havent fully off gassed.
