Which Sealent-Zaino or Klasse?

If i end up with zaino, what should I get besides the Z2, ZFX and the Z8 for that extra shine. As mentioned before, the car doesnt get driven in bad weather, doesnt see the highway or any daily use, thats why I dont think that theres a need for me to get the whole zaino line up.

Get Z5, not Z2 since you have black paint.

ZAIO + Z5 + Z8

If you use ZAIO, you don't need ZFX and since ZAIO already has sealant in it, you already have two layers of protection without having to mix and potentially waste any product. ZAIO is a far more useful product than ZFX anyway.

pound for pound, cost factored in, I can't imagine any product better than Klasse, but I haven't tried the Zaino line either (mostly because of the reviews stating the plastic look it gives)

Both Klasse and Zaino are great products. They both are extremely durable and they both give a great look(if the car is prepped well).

Zaino seems to be a little easier to use though. Klasse is a little tough to apply and remove.

If you are wanting to get a great shine. Use Klasse or zaino as a sealant. Let it cure and top it off with a Wax such as Chemical Guys butter wet wax or P21s. I like to apply butter wet wax every Week or two on a sealant as maintenance. Then every six months do a polish (If there is very little or no correction needed, than KAIO would be fine to remove and LSP) than reapply sealant and a wax

so ZAIO eliminates the need for ZFX while using Z2/Z5?

Correct. However, you can only apply a single layer of Z2/5 over it. Not that big of a deal though, you still have two layers of protection and next time you wash, you can simply add more Z2/5 straight from the bottle. Makes the Zaino system easier to use, IMO.

Haven't the Klasse twins been around for 20-somethin' years?

I absolutely, without any qualms love using KAIO, and topping it with P21s. You can't wrong. Unfortunately P21s is a very weak LSP in terms of durability. Too bad I don't have the time to apply every two weeks.

KSG has awesome durability. I have never used Zaino, but from what I have heard and seen, it looks much, much better with similar durability.

Ok will do. I still dont get how the ZAIO will be a substitute for ZFX but that's fine, i got some reading to do. So once I apply ZAIO I can simply add Z2/Z5 on top of it? One coat I know but lets say the next time I wash the car, do I need to repeat these steps-ZAIO+Z2/5 or can I simply throw on some Z2/Z5 on the car without AIO?

Don't use ZAIO twice, it will remove whatever you had on previously. You can layer as much as you want, but I don't see much reason too. Just one coat of ZAIO and Z2pro is all you need.

When I spoke with the gentlemen that sells this stuff, he told me not to bother using Z5 as long as my paint has no swirls/marking in it (which it doesnt) he was being honest and told me to just get the Z2.

So....Z:AIO+Z2 and this should be good enough? *The following day, can I do a wipe down with a MF and a QD then go ahead and apply one more coat of Z2?

No, just add another layer of Z2/Z5. You don't *have* to though, 1 application of ZAIO/Z2 or Z5 is going to bead for quite a while. I'd probably go ahead and apply another layer of Z2/Z5 every couple of months to keep your car looking its best.

Z5 doesn't hide swirls, IMO so that shouldn't be a factor in which one you purchase. Just my personal opinion that Z5 looks better than Z2 on darker paints.

ZAIO functionals as a base. It give the Z2pro something to bond to.

Ok now I get it. I made another threade a while back and a lot of folks suggested that after applying the ZAIO that I can throw on both Z2 and Z5 but I just cant remember in which order? Once again the car is black.

EDIT-How long does it take for the Z2/Z5 to cure anyways? And if im applying Z2+Z5 together (or the other way around) Do i have to wait for the first coat to fully cure or can I go and put on the other Z on there?

You are making this too complicated. Use one or the other. Keep it simple, you will enjoy detailing a lot more.

I usually do, and your right. However people are telling me different things so im just trying to get to the facts thats all.

I only used Klasse Twins and can definitely recommend them for awesome protection, long durability, super tight beading and amazing looking results!

Even my wife is impressed having it on her car!

Ok I need some advice here. I just got back from my zaino dealer and he told me not to bother with Z5 considering my car has no swirls. He says I should only focus on Z2 and that is all. Is this true?
