I've narrowed it down to 4 choices of sealant/wax for this coming NY winter. I want good looks, but durability from snow/salt/ice/sand is most important. My car is an 07 Space Gray BMW 335i coupe if that helps. So make your choice and post your opinions!

I'd go with Werkstatt AJT. I've found Werkstatt every bit as durable as Zaino and AJT is incredibly easy to use.

I'd go with the 476, it offers great protection and durability. BTW, 476 and 885 are the same wax in different tins...... Collinite has verified this, so buy whichever one is cheaper. If you meant 845 instead of 885 then there is a difference since 845 is a liquid version of 476/885. I personally think the paste (476/885) offers more durability for winter use.

I think all four would be excellent choices to help you last through the winter. I personally have 3x Collinite 476S on one half of the van, and 3x Duragloss 105 on the other side for my winter prep.

You can't go wrong with any of those that are on the list I had major sucess with Collinite but last winter I used Jetseal 109 from CG and I am hooked

Jeff Werkstatt's on my car for my Philadelphia winters! Here's a hint. Apply it as THIN as possible. Else youll be in for an arm workout.

Looks like Zaino and Collinite 476 are neck and neck so far. After the recent threads, I should have added FK 1000P to the poll.

I'll add Klasse SG. Otherwise, 476S. I'll try next summer (to check the protection here is better to do it with hot) the 1000p.

I have #16x2 and then a layer of 845 on my Wrangler. Pretty decent depth and I've never had a problem with #16 in terms of durability.

Z2 Pro X2 coats lasted me Ocotber-early April here in St. Louis last year. I was pretty impressed.

One of the benefits of a sealant is the easy "back to gloss" procedure with something like Z-8 which actually adds protection as well.
