Which QD is the most universal?

I usually like to use the same brand of QD as sealant I have on the paint at some point, but sometimes that's just not economical. For example, right now I'm using WG sealant and WG QD, but I QD so much that I wouldn't want to buy a new WG QD everytime the bottle runs low.

What is a good, economical QD that I can use mostly after a QEW to revitalize the shine of a sealant?

Hello Tyler,

Economical, sealant-friendly QD's that I like are:

Meg's Final Inspection - layer-friendly

EO Wet, Wipe, & Shine

The following add a little more shine than the above if you don't mind paying a little extra:

ClearKote's QuickShine

Poorboy's Spray and Gloss

Just my $.02,

MCA

*Edit* I just noticed that you reside in Garden City, KS - you might be able to get a great deal from Sparkle Auto. I have no affiliation with this vendor, btw.

Those are my two favorite QD's also. FWIW QS by the gallon comes in a concentrated form (add water) so it may be more economical to ship.

My vote is for Quikshine as well. Spray and Gloss is about as slick but QS has better depth (as compared side to side). On light colors you may not notice but I can on black.

Wait a minute. The Quikshine in gallons comes is a concentrated form, not ready to go? That would make it a great value. What dillution would it be? I bought a quart, does it need to be dilluted?

By the way, QS is the best I have used. I use to use Adam's, I still thinks it's a little slicker but the QS adds some serious shine and depth!

It comes in a gallon jug, but it isn't full..... there is a sticker near the top that says to fill to this line with tap water. I'd say there is only about an 1 1/2" in the jug. I think the gallon is the only one that comes concentrated like that. They also send an empty spray bottle to use with it.

I got a sample of Z8 and have tried it already over Wolf, Z2, Tropicare and even Natty's, the stuff speads like water and makes any surface even nuba slick and renewed, with the emphasis on SLICK. Having said that, I really like clay lube as an econimcal QD. I think even the cheap ones renew shine, but for the combo slickness/protection/shine I'd try Z8.
