Dealer touched up chipped paint on '04 Accord. Buffed out "as good as new". Ya, right. LOL.

Need to fix the hazing and light lines left behind by these experts. (Someone must have leaned on the car or something as there are some very light scrathches near the area they "fixed". Like they wiped the paint with a shop rag to get the "dirt" off the paint! ARRRGH!!). Clayed and tapped the car, Drinking my coffee now and trying to decide which SSR to use. SSR1 seems to have little or no corrective properties to it with the PC and a blue edge pad. I have all the Sonus pads, Edge pads, LC pads....but little experience with Poorboys SSR's.

Is SSR2.5 or SSR2 with a green Sonus DAS pad the way to go? SSR and pad recommendations needed soon, if possible. Thanks.

The right combo of pads and SSRs is largely dependent upon user technique and the extent of the dealer damage. Will you be using a dual action PC or a rotary? With a rotary, a polishing or finishing pad with SSR1 might be sufficient. With a dual action PC, try SSR2 with a polishing pad. If a couple passes with SSR2 at speeds around 5 don't do the trick, then step up to SSR2.5 with a light cut pad. Be sure to work the SSR products until they nearly disappear.
