Which OTC spray wax gives best pop?

Hey guys I have been reading non stop all of these spray wax reviews and what not. I was going to order OCW, but I rather buy OTC since it is readily available.



Now my question is, out of EO Nano wax, Mothers FX or Reflections wax. Which would make the flake pop the most? I have a silver car and usually use KSG.



Which would look best on a dark car (black)?



From reading, the reflections and Nano is nuba based and best for warm glow and FX is best for sealants?

What about the Reflections? Any reviews on that? I searched on here but it didnt give me much information. Would it suffice as a stand-alone wax or just a booster wax? eh, I don't know if that makes sense.



Oh and also, I thought Turtle Wax products aren't that great? Or is their Platinum line improved?
 
I second the suggestion for the Turtle wax spray. For a spray, it is surprisingly durable. Cheap and easy to find, too.

Yea I read the same, I googled and found the spray detailers, no spray wax. Any link?

FWIW from reading some say FX will make it shine so much, that the flake is muted... Reflections also came out to be good for that warm glow.



Thing is, I might go buy both to try them and see... Damn more wasted $$$! haha
 
I have both FX and Nano spray wax and will probably pick up Reflections later today and do a test for all of you this weekend. But from what I've read as well is that FX is so bright that it mutes the flakes.
 
Rolla, yes, the TWPUG detailer is technically a QD, not a spray wax. But the results it gives are outstanding and comparable with spray waxes. Doesn't last as long though.



As for true spray waxes, the Mothers are just unbelievable.

Where can I find some of these like Nano? BTW if you mean spray detailers that can also wax, I'd throw in Zymol's Detail Spray. I have used Turtle Wax Platinum, and its good, but I'd only use that if I were out of my Zymol Detail.
 
Another nod for the TWPUD :chuckle: Get it while you can, it's on sale at target. I used it on my steel grey bmw and ohhhhhh the wetnesss!!!!!! I was shocked I was using Turtle Wax. The application is a little more difficult than the average QD, but worth it. It remimds me of potato chips, full of oils and junk, but sure does taste good, but you are hungry for more shortly after. And the smell is......Well pick your favorite tropical drink.

I agree. Reflections for dark colours and metallics, FX for white.



I've used TWPUG detailer on several dark colours and was disappointed with the *silvery* sheen it gave it. The finish lost all its depth and became shiny and mono-dimensional. I tried a second bottle with the same results. IMO, I'd only recommend it on white. Maybe something wrong with the batch I bought. :nixweiss



FX is nothing like that, but not as effective as Reflections at bringing out the flake. Reflections has to be the best all-round OTC wax around.

Hmmm I dunno, lazy perhaps? :p... Wellllll I do order all my supplies online, but right now I just needed one product, so shipping will kill the deal. I was going to get OCW to try, but will not until I order my next batch of mass products haha. Once warmer, I will be needing some clay, wax, RMG and will order then... Otherwise, since you asked, what would you say to order online? I was going to get OCW. BUT then I read the FK post and want FK425 and more FK productts... Damn autopia making me waste all this $$$!!! haha



I do not need a QD, as I have a gallon of the CG's stuff :bigups...



I mainly wanted this to add on top of my LSP (almost making thing my LSP? haha).
 
Well I went to Kragen today to pick up Reflections Spray Wax and came out with two bottles of Reflections Tire Shine for $2.99 each. I was about to buy the Reflections Spray but figured that I wasted too much money anyway lol.

Ahh! haha so you did not buy the FX or reflections spray wax? Guess I will find out once it is warmer.
