OK, so I did a search and didn't come up with anything that really answered my question. So I really need to buy some new deatiling products because I want my new car to be as swirl free and clean as possible. So i'm want to switch over to MF.
First off: MF wash mits. Is it really necessary to get a MF wash mit? I was thinking of getting this MF wash mit but it's pretty expensive for a wash mit. Won't the normal ones from pep boys work fine?
2nd: Drying the car after a wash. I'm looking into the Big Blue drying towel, but that's pretty expensive as well. How does it stack up against a normal terry cloth cotten towel?
3rd: MF towels for working with waxes, polishes, etc....
I have used the Meguiars MF towles and they worked great! I'm just going to get a couple of packs of these towles, but if anyone has any other suggestions, i'd like to hear it.
I heard somewhere that even with a MF towel, you can still swirl the paint if you apply with too much pressure. Any truth to that? I thought that was true with terry cloth towels, but not MF ones, I mean i'm not going to be beating up on the paint or anything....
So i'd just like to hear some other suggestions if anyone has them. I know it's a lot of questions, but I sort of feel overwhelmed by all the info and the products out there!
