Which Edge Pad = LC Orange

Yellow Edge pad = Medium Cut. Everyday cutting for average cars, light
. oxidation. Add compound for a flawless finish on base
. coats.

Green Pad = Light Cut. Our most versatile pad: buff with light
. compound on clearcoats, rinse with water, apply polish
. or wax. Great for humid weather when waxes may cake.


Blue Pad = Finish. Scratchless everyday polishing pad for any
. surface. Use with wax and polish. Removes swirl marks
. and applies a fine gloss.


White Pad = Ultrafine Finish. Ultra-smooth surface, finer than any
. pad on the market. Creates a bold, crystalline gloss.

Orange Edge Pad = I don't know where it falls in the lineup , I haven't tried it out yet . Stay tuned I'll be doing a review on some new Edge pads .


Green wool for the PC , this one should be good .

I am going to be ordering some gear really soon and I have heard SOOOO much hype about the orange pads. I figured I would get one along with the flexible backing plate. I already have Edge White, BLue, Green and Yellow. I suppose 1 more won't hurt. I just wanted to see what the orange pad was similar to in the Edge lineup.

Personally, I prefer the Edge Green pad's texture. However, I prefer the Lake Country Orange pad's shape (7.5" curved edge model). Both are excellent pads. They provide just enough cut to perform minor to moderate defect correction with a PC, but they're also gentle enough to not create any hazing.
