Which DP product is a better lubricant

I would use neither. IMO, those two products are far superior to any Waterless wash or carnuaba spritz on the market right now. I like it better than S&W and S&G, so I would not waste the product claying.

For claying I use soap and water in a squirt bottle. if you are looking for slick, that will do it.

bump!

just mix some nxt and water. super slickity slick lube!

I would advise that you simply try various methods. As long as you're not using straight water you should be fine. Mix-up some lube and as long as the clay glides over the paint, the clay is doing it's job. Good luck

A matter of being cost effective, compare the price of lube or Qd vs. the cost of using a car wash soap w/ good lubricity.
I normally clay while I wash

What about a strong car-wash solution (Car wash and water) in a spray bottle? Think that would work?

That should be good, preferably a slick car wash like NXT wash or one of the higher-end washes.

One thing I just found out today, don't use the Final Gloss Booster as a drying aid, it's a gloss booster ONLY. I tried this and my Cobra WW just wouldn't soak up all of the water. I switched to S&G and used another WW and it worked fine. Just thought I'd let everyone know.

Might want to try a different WW....I've found Final Gloss Booster to be an excellent drying aid with nearly any LSP on the surface.
