Which CG compound would you say is closest to PBs SSR 2.5

Personally, I haven't used an CG products and I really don't want to get drawn into what will probably end up as a flame fest like all the other CG threads. DavidB is wielding the ban stick over how nasty the theads end up.

Oh sorry just looking for more cost effective product similiar to 2.5 I love that stuff and if I can get something like it cheaper I think that would be cool.

Similar price but Optimum Polish rocks. Can't say it is as effective in the sun as PB's SSR line though.
 
It's simple. CG has a abrasiveness level for each of their products. I would go by it.



It would probably be best if we quit associating CG with PBW in any way. :)



I mean seriously, let's just discuss CG as its own entity.

I agree they seam to keep ending all threads because PB is such a big sponsor of this site, honestly we should have the right to compare after all that’s how we learn but, why hurt peoples feelings. If in fact people like buying in bulk better products at better prices why compare. It's nice to have something to compare to because it makes it easier but it seams like a lot of our chats are getting shut down. Lets talk about the products in a smarter way. IF you find a great product lets all discuss it and learn together. But what’s next, If we only talk about one company all the time will they start shutting down these threads because sponsors of the site are not getting enough sales from the site? I don't know either way we'll see…. Lets just play it safe
 
Thats not true 5star. A few threads have lingered around for quite a while, and didnt get locked until people started slinging poo.

Interesting. I figured since Optimum has a much longer work time, it

would be more effective in the sun over PB SSR's.
